connexdaughtercard

The connex device is the framework for connecting a gumstix connex computer into a daughtercard that requires address/data bus access.

Two footprints are included:
1) The header connector, and
2) The header connector and an outline of the overlying gumstix including the 3 drillholes and general 'keep out' regions where the connex board has devices that exceed 1mm in height.

This library contains the framework for designing daughtercards for the gumstix computers. There are 2 faces which accept daughtercards, labelled 'basix' and 'connex'. The basix face provides lower-speed, non-bus, access to GPIO and several alternate functions using a 60-pin Hirose header. The connex face provides higher-speed, bus, access to several control/GPIO lines as well as many address and data lines.

Footprints:

Basix
Two footprints are included for the basix: (1) The header connector, and (2) The header connector with an outline of the overlying gumstix including the 3 drillholes.

Basix-JK
The basix-jk is the next generation of header, which has eliminated the JTAG lines from the 60-pin connector, replacing them with the BT-UART lines and DREQ0. Again, two footprints are included for the basix-JK, the second generation of gumstix (1) The header connector, and (2) The header connector with an outline of the overlying gumstix including the 3 drillholes.

Connex
One footprint is included for the connex, which provides gumstix board outline, the locations of the 3 mounting holes and the antenna hole, and 'keepout' guidelines for several components that are taller than 1.0mm. The interboard distance is 2mm.

The current version of this library does not include the locations of the test-points for the new JTAG signal locations. These will be on the connex-side, and will also provide access to several power signals and the FFUART-TXD and RXD.
